David Jack-Emmings was a British civilian living and working in London in 1888. David was a notorious employee of Olwyn Owers, who often kidnapped young women from the English countryside and sold them into slavery at the London brothels. He was also a well-known and dangerous brawler, having killed many men with his fists alone. In 1888, the British Assassin Evie Frye found David in Whitechapel, apprehended him, and delivered him to Inspector Frederick Abberline of the Metropolitan Police Service, who took him into custody.[1]
