During my escape from the prison of Maijishan, I saw a face I hadn't seen in a long time. Hong Liwei was a low-rank eunuch in the Forbidden City, and an ally and informant for the Assassins. He was suspected by the Tigers during the purge that followed the Zhengde Emperor's [sic] death, and was imprisoned since then. He did not deserve to rot with common criminals.
