Agoge Fighter was a Spartan youth who, as part of the agoge, went out to fight in order to prove themselves.
When Myrrine and her daughter, the misthios Kassandra returned to Sparta during the Peloponnesian War, they stopped near the Spartan training territory to reminisce. While there, they observed two Agoge Fighters, Nikeratos and Hebontes, dealing with a pack of wolves.[1]
Behind the scenes
Depending upon the player's actions, Kassandra can either let the two Agoge Fighters attempt to fend off the wolves on their own, or she can intervene to try and save them. If the latter is chosen, one of the Agoge Fighters is killed by the wolves and Kassandra will save the other fighter.
However, the other fighter's father will show up and berate Kassandra for saving his child when he could've fought them off on his own. Myrrine will also berate Kassandra for making the fighter soft.
The father and the Agoge Fighter can be knocked out and recruited as lieutenants for the Adrestia.
