Agnes of Rome (c.  291 – c.  304) is a virgin martyr who was later venerated as a saint by most Christian churches.

In 1213,[1] in Paris, France, a modest chapel was built dedicated to her, in French she was known as "Sainte-Agnès".[2] The parish church was renamed to "Saint-Eustache" in 1303.[1] Which was later demolished completely in 1532 to make way for a bigger church dedicated to Saint-Eustache.[2]
