Died: Unknown
Born to the Ashanti tribe in the Akon region of West Africa, Antó was sold into slavery as a young man, and sent to Jamaica. He soon escaped with the help of the legendary warrior, Kujo, and founded a Maroon community near Kingston. There he quickly established a good relationship with the local traders, and began coordinating plantation raids to free slaves and build an army.
Although he ran the Assassin bureau, Antó's priority was always to free slaves from captivity.
(Note: His name translates to "born after the death of his father". Nice little tidbit there." -JM)
