The Dark Oracle was a mysterious witch rumored to have been able to see the future and reveal vital information on the resitance to Templars. She was held imprisoned in a dark cell by Armand Bouchart who used her knowledges against his enemies in Cyprus. As the resistance knew almost nothing about her, she had become an incredibly feared myth among them.

When Altaïr found her, she was revealed to be a young, feral woman with long, sharp nails. Altaïr identified her as once a noble lady, suggesting she was the same noble lady he overheard was stripped off her castle and wealth by Templars. It is believed she assisted or knew of the resistance once, before she had been imprisoned, and after being driven mad in her cell, she, in her insanity, started to inform Templars on their enemies.

He tried to communicate with her, but the witch mumbled and yelled strange words about her being God's instrument and attacked him. He defeated her, and was forced to kill her, stopping both her madness and ending information leaks on the resistance and the dreaded myth about her.
