Darius was a male Persian assassin living during the reign of King Xerxes. He assassinated him with the Hidden Blade, making it the first assassination with the hidden blade. It is possible he is an ancestor of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles. He is the only Assassin in the Sanctuary whose Assassin Tomb is required to be visited.

- Darius had all ten fingers, as seen on the picture on the right. Either this was a creation mistake or the hidden blade's design was later changed so that the ring finger needed to be removed.
