- "I am not a violent man, but I ready my family's heirloom dagger. I pull my toga up into a cowl and leave for the celebration."
- ―Brutus preparing to assassinate Caesar[src]
The Dagger of Brutus was a weapon available in Rome, obtained along with the personal armor of Marcus Junius Brutus.
Usage
It was heavily implied in the Romulus Scrolls that the dagger was the same weapon Brutus used to kill Gaius Julius Caesar.
The dagger was made available after collecting all of the keys and scrolls from the different Lairs of Romulus, and was found in the same underground chamber as the Armor of Brutus. It was the best short weapon available to the Assassin Ezio Auditore during his time in Rome during the 16th century.
