The Cyrene's Spear was a spear whose origins date back at least 400 years. It was said to have been forged for Battus I of Cyrene, the founder of the Greek colony of Cyrenaica and Cyrene.

By 47 BCE, it was in the possession of the healer Praxilla, who gave it to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa after he rescued her and other people from the Shrine of Whispers and Melitta.
