The Cyrene's Spear was a spear whose origins dates back at least 400 years. It was said to have been forged for Battus I of Cyrene, the founder of the Greek colony Kyrenaika and Cyrene .
By 48 BCE, it was in the possession of the healer Praxilla, who later gave it to the Medjay Bayek after he rescued her from the Shrine of Whispers from Melitta.
