Cudjoe, or Kujo, (c. 1680 – 1744) was a Maroon leader in Jamaica, described as one of the greatest leaders among the Maroons. He was also the brother of Nanny of the Maroons.
After having escaped slavery, Cudjoe aided in the escape of other slaves and fought several battles against the British who were sent to recapture them. Antó, who would later become a Master Assassin and Maroon leader, and Kumi Berko, who later became a pirate, were among the slaves Cudjoe saved from their masters.
