Constantinople (known today as Istanbul, the capital of Turkey) was the capital city of the Ottoman Empire, on the edge of Europe. During the Renaissance, a guild of the Assassin Order was based in the city and received aid from Ezio Auditore da Firenze's Italian guild for several important assassinations. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio can send his Apprentices to perform assassinations as well as other missions important to the Order through Assassin towers or pigeon coops.[1]
