Constantine VII Flavius Porphyrogenitus (Greek: Kōnstantinos VII Flāvios Porphyrogennētos; 905 – 959) was Byzantine Emperor from 913 to his death.

During his reign, he repaired and further augmented the Walled Obelisk, causing it to be named after him.[1]
