Clever Fox Tavern

The Clever Fox Tavern was a tavern in the north of Paris where King Charles the Fat used to entertain himself, since this establishment offered food, drink, prostitutes for company, and rooms to rent.

In 886, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir travelled to the tavern to meet with Toka Sinricsdottir and aid in the search for King Charles. Although unable to get the information from the performancers there, Eivor discovered a note in the upper levels of the tavern, revealing Charles' location at the Amphitheater in Amiens.[1]
