Sir Christopher Wren PRS FRS (1632 – 1723) was an acclaimed English architect. He was also an anatomist, astronomer, geometrist, and physicist.

At some point, Wren lived in the neighborhood of Great Scotland Yard, which had formerly been the residence of the Scottish monarchy.[1] In the late 17th century, Wren made refurbishments to the Temple Church, installing an organ and altar screen in the church. In addition, he also whitewashed the church's paintings and applied plaster to the marble columns to suit the aesthetic tastes of the time.[2]
