The church of Santo Stefano (English: Saint Stephen) is located in Venice.[1] It is the final resting place of Bartolomeo d'Alviano.[2]

This Gothic church was constructed in the 13th Century, then rebuilt in the 14th.

It's notable for being the resting place of a doge (Andrea Contarini) as well as for the fact that Martin Luther once said mass inside.[1]
