The Chestguard of the Slayer was a pack of armor worn by the Italian Assassins during the Renaissance.
The sword was made available to the Italian Assassin Lo Sparviero through an Animus modification by the research analysts of Identity Project.[1]

Behind the Scenes
The Novice Chestguard of the Slayer bears a slight resemblance to the Armor of Brutus worn by the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Rome.
