Checcomate is a memory in the Battle of Forlì DLC pack for Assassin's Creed II.
Description
While Ezio was out rescuing Caterina Sforza's children, the Templars attacked the Rocca di Ravaldino again. Checco Orsi was successful in retrieving the Apple. Ezio then set out to kill Checco and retrieve the Piece of Eden.
Outcome
Ezio successfully assassinated Checco Orsi, but was stabbed by him. Before losing consciousness from the wound, Ezio witnessed a monk with a missing finger steal the Apple. Ezio was later found by one of Caterina's men, next to Checco Orsi's dead body. Afterwards, Ezio was taken into care in Forlì until he could regain consciousness.
