The Chalkidian Helmet was a type of helmet used in the 5th century BCE Greece. Originating from Chalkidiki, a part of Makedonia, the helmet bore a notable plume of red hair, reminiscent of the tail of a horse.
During the Peloponnesian War, the helmet was a favorite among bandits.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Chalkidian Helmet, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar pieces of armor in the same game, including the Admiral's Helmet.
In addition to the in-game bandits, also the male bandit crew theme for the Eagle Bearer's ship Adrestia are shown wearing these helmets.
