Behind the scenes

The Ceremonial Axe in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey shares the model with Mushussu from Assassin's Creed: Origins. As such it is once again based on a type of axe called "gazelle-headed axe" from the Mughal Empire in the Indian subcontinent. Its appearance in both games is anachronistic.
