The Cercopes (English: Tail-men) were two mischievous brothers in Greek mythology.

According to the story, they took Herakles' wild olive-wood club and hid it from him.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War a bandit camp in Pandora's Cove, Malis, was named after the brothers.[1]
