The Carolingian Pants were a pair of pants and boots patterned after the styles of the central European Carolingian Empire in the Early Middle Ages.
During the Viking expansion into England, the armor was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
