The Acqua Antoniniana was an aqueduct located in Rome.
History
Built by Caracalla in 212, the Acqua Antoniniana was a secondary channel of the Acqua Marcia designed exclusively to supply water to Caracalla's private baths. Thanks to several repairs by various Popes, the Acqua Antoniniana remained functional for longer than its counterparts and well into the 10th century.[1]
