Boots of Ares

The Boots of Ares were boots worn in Greece that were a part of a set of armor inspired and dedicated to Ares, the god of war in Greek mythology.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired the boots over the course of her travels.[1]
