I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
The battle of Megaris was an early engagement in the Peloponnesian War, fought between the Athens-supported armies of Megaris and Sparta in 431 BCE.
The Spartan army, which was commanded by Nikolaos, the "Wolf of Sparta", and his adopted son Stentor, and supported by the misthios Kassandra, claimed victory and subjugated Megaris.[1]
Behind the Scenes
This battle might have been inspired by the Megarian decree, trade sanctions and a naval blockade imposed on the city of Megara by Athens.
