They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Subject 12.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

Subject 12 was an individual used in Abstergo Industries' Animus Project, where they were forced to relive their ancestors' genetic memories.

Biography[edit | edit source]

One of their ancestors was closely tied to the Philadelphia Project in 1943, and their reliving of these memories allowed Abstergo to reconstruct the original artifact used in the experiment. On 7 September 2012, Alan Rikkin emailed Warren Vidic to notify him that recordings of Subject 12's session had been reviewed.[1]
