Birds are a group of warm-blooded vertebrates constituting the class Aves. Birds are feathered theropod dinosaurs and constitute the only known living dinosaurs, descendants of the primitive avialans like the Archaeopteryx. Their closest living relatives are the crocodilians like the Alligator and Crocodile
Birds come in many differing sizes and colors and can be found all around the World, totalling some 10,000 different species of bird.
