Farid was a Moorish Hidden One active during the 9th century. Before 870, he travelled to Francia, where he trained the young Oisel for some time before returning to Córdoba in Al-Andalus. Half-Moorish himself, Oisel fondly remembered his time under Farid's wing.[1]
