The Bellatores Robe was a cloak that the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir retrieved in late 9th century Paris, West Francia.
Through her travels in West Francia, Eivor made an agreement with Viking leader, Sigfred, to find and kill Bishop Engelwin. In the Sainte-Geneviève Church, Eivor spoke to a fellow priest, who was in line for "deliverance". Taking his place, Eivor had to wear a certain garment to be allowed into Engelwin's presence. Although the priest misplaced his own robe, Eivor found and opened a chest nearby, collected the Bellatores Robe, and headed underneath the church to assassinate Engelwin.[1]
