The Bellatores Robe was a cloak that the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan retrieved in late 9th century Paris, West Francia.
History
Through her travels in West Francia, Eivor made an agreement with Viking leader, Sigfred, to find and kill Bishop Engelwin. From her investigation, Eivor found Engelwin's location was in the Sainte-Geneviève Church. Sleuthing her way inside, Eivor spoke to a fellow priest, who was in line for "deliverance". However, the priest stated his reluctance as Eivor provided another option, which was to take his place. The priest agreed and informed Eivor that she needed to wear a certain garment to be allowed into Engelwin's presence. Misplacing his own, the priest was looking around as Eivor saw and opened a chest nearby. Inside Eivor collected the Bellatores Robe and headed underneath the church to assassinate Engelwin.[1]
