Battista Borgia (? - 1500) was the third cousin of Cesare Borgia and captain of a Borgia tower located near Caserma di Alviano in the Campagna district within Rome. He was quick to run off from any sight of danger to inform the other guards.[1]
In 1500, the Borgia attacked the Casa di Alviano . Bartolomeo d'Alviano and his men faced the Borgia guards, including Battista, who ran off back to the tower after his men were overwhelmed by mercenaries. Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who was alongside Bartolomeo and his men, pursued Battista, eventually killing him before he could retreat to the tower.[1]
