alot of the terms that are used for ones belief are not always exclusive though many people use them as such. eg agnosticism can apply to both thiests and athiests. it can get rather complicated sometimes for a person to specify fully so often its just given as a single viewpoint, depending on context in which its said they may give different awnsers to different people.
