Speaking as someone who experienced it: Religion was just the banner people/organizations with political (and social) agendas hid behind in N. Ireland and it was more a fight on either side against oppression. Since they can now govern themselves, peace is achievable and it has little to do (in the overall sense) with religion.

EDIT: I would rather not get into this topic but it is good to see so many people are able to converse without arguing. :)

Speaking as someone who experienced it: Religion was just the banner people/organizations with political (and social) agendas hid behind in N. Ireland and it was more a fight on either side against oppression. Since they can now govern themselves, peace is achievable and it has little to do (in the overall sense) with religion.

EDIT: I would rather not get into this topic but it is good to see so many people are able to converse without arguing. :)
