Well, to be honest, I figured that everyone knew that I was talking about the Cold War... Almost all of the political figures above played roles in the Cold War and the war was, as I have been taught in history class, a political conflict between communism in the east and capitalism in the west. It was about the economical state of certain countries, and indirectly about politics.
(Or, I might very well haven't been paying much attention in history class.)
