Baghdad Bound was a virtual representation of one of Basim Ibn Ishaq's genetic memories relived through the Animus.
Description
Basim, Fuladh and Roshan travelled to Baghdad to follow up on Nur's search for Ali ibn Muhammad.
Dialogue
Basim, Roshan and Fuladh packed their belongings onto camels and left the valley towards Baghdad, accompanied by Basim's companion Enkidu. They cross the desert, making stops in between to rest at night before continuing. Along the way, they also braced against the occuring sandstorms and find shelter in caverns. After much time, they reached the northern outskirts of the city, with Basim taking a view of the city in the horizon.
- Roshan: Basim, we should keep moving.
- Basim: I would like to look around first, if I may? Baghdad and its surroundings call to me.
- Roshan: Very well. But do not be long. There will be much to do once we reach Harbiyah.
- Fuladh: Look for a lattice-covered courtyard near Shari's mosque. That is where Nur was gathering his information. That is where we will be.
Basim nodded, and Roshan and Fuladh departed to the city.
- Basim: Now, where does my heart take me?
Eventually, Basim resumed towards Baghdad, passing by the surrounding villages and farms. He entered the city through the Qutrabbul Gate.

Outcome
The Hidden Ones established a bureau in the Harbiyah district and embarked on two leads to search for the Zanj rebel leader: Beshi, a follower of Ali in the rebellion, and one of Nur's new contacts in the Shari' factory district.
