This article is about an Egyptian worker from Letopolis in the 1st century BCE. You may be looking for Baba, the Egyptian detification of the hamadryas baboon.

Baba was an Egyptian worker employed under Nito in Letopolis during the reign of Ptolemy XIII, and the brother of Ipyu and one other.

Biography

In 48 BCE, Baba, alongside his fellow workers Ipuy and the other, were tasked by Nito to dig a well next to the Temple of Horus.
