Augustine "Auguste" Oberlin (1468 - 1503) was a member of the Templar Order, and the personal blacksmith of Cesare Borgia. He crafted weapons for nearly all of Cesare's agents, and was also responsible for creating and distributing Borgia propaganda throughout Rome.
His genetic memories were later used by Abstergo Industries for the training of the Animus recruits, under the title of the Blacksmith.
