m The museum was significant plot point because it was where William Miles was captured by Abstergo in AC3. I think that merits an article.

Auguste Mariette

François Auguste Ferdinand Mariette (11 February 1821 – 18 January 1881) was a French archaeologist and Egyptologist.

In 1858, the Viceroy of Egypt created the Antiquities Service where Mariette, supported by a team of foreign scholars, exerted an iron grip. He carried out his work across Egypt and into Nubia, intervening on almost every major site.[1] In the same year, Mariette discovered the Inventory Stela[2] and requested a museum be created for keeping unearthed artifacts in Egypt.[1]
