Also, I realise that when I started using the wiki I made a few mistakes myself but the admins and editors were patient with me and pointed out my mistakes so a policy would make it all more clearer to serious users. My ownly suggestion would be to include a breakdown of the policy like the blog points shown here and include it with the policy (perhaps in the form of 'Content' links).
