Athenian Waistband

The Athenian Waistband was a type of belt mainly used by Athenian soldiers during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra could obtain the belt by purchasing it from blacsmiths or by looting it during her travels.[1]
