I'm leaning more towards the satellite launch being successful but the solar flare is stopped. It gives the better image of the lesser of two evils, and while most of humanity is enslaved, there still exists a chance to free them later on if the Assassins go deep underground. | I'm leaning more towards the satellite launch being successful but the solar flare is stopped. I don't believe Desmond will die from the solar flare, after trying to stop the satellite launch. That would be too much like Mass Effect 3's endings, which didn't go down well with fans.
I'm leaning more towards the satellite launch being successful but the solar flare is stopped. It gives the better image of the lesser of two evils, and while most of humanity is enslaved by the Templars, there still exists a chance to free them later on if the Assassins go deep underground.
