Arno is perhaps trying to evade being caught from some event where he'll be killed if he's noticed, perhaps not an instant desync if caught but in a position where you'll be assuredly taken out by many guards, and his Assassin tutor is thinning out the patrol out for Arno while also reminding him not to break the Creed through providing alternate suggestions.

Maybe if it's the result of an assassination gone wrong, and they're going through the Creed in reverse to drive the point home and help Arno disappear.

There can be a character who spots Arno and is trying to make his misdeed known to others or the guards, and Arno initially wants to silence then with his weapons, but his tutor convinces Arno to take them down non-lethally - cue cutscene with Arno making a "be quiet" gesture as he lays them down on the floor while their vision goes blurry and they fade into unconsciousness.

Consider it a mission of "Yeah, you fucked up, but let's get you out of here and avoid more trouble occurring as we go." And, there's the added bonus of it giving Arno some "notoriety" within the city via the conversations of civilians and through following memories' dialogues, while still allowing him to be unnoticed.
"You don't want to disobey your parents, child. There's that guy going around who'll make you disappear if you do." etc. etc.

I would at least like to see someone explain it out to Arno, but it doesn't always have to be a "sit down and let's speak" conversation. It could be that Arno learns the true importance of the Creed by a tutor who guides him, and how it is incorporated into these tutorial missions in essence.

Maybe if it's the result of an assassination gone wrong, and they're going through the Creed to drive the point home and help Arno disappear.

From there Arno wants to disappear via the rooftops, but he is reminded of gun-wielding sentries and is made to disappear into the crowd to get away, causing distractions among the civilians to take away the guards' attention (please make a part where pickpocketing someone and moving further away doesn't mean psychic civilians who break crowd physics to all stare at you, instead having the civilian accuse someone else close by and kick off with each other).

Finally, Arno goes to run straight to an Assassin hideout in the town, but he is told not to do so because of the state of high alert and with guards being stationed numerously around that area, in effect compromising the Brotherhood should he enter, and he and his tutor take a less crowded route and eliminate the smaller amound of guards present to make it to a neutral inn or tavern for the night, drawing away suspicions of the two.

There's that guy going around who'll make you disappear if you do." etc. etc.
