The Assassin's Shroud

The Assassin's Shroud was a hood which was a part of a set of armor in the 5th century BCE Greece. Though simple in construction, the shroud was embroidered with intricate designs.

Named after the belief that the shroud would enable an assassin to hide better, the shroud was used by others as well during the Peloponnesian War.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Assassin's Shroud, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar pieces, including Demosthenes' Hood. In addition, the legendary Athenian War Hero Hood shares the model, but is distinct in colorisation from the two variants of the Assassin's Shroud.
