The (54 Bore) 1856 Revolver, or properly the Beaumont-Adams revolver, is a revolver adopted by the British Army in 1856 that uses .442 calibre (54-bore) cartridges. Its relatively small size makes it easily concealable, and in 1868, the Assassin twins Jacob and Evie Frye received this weapon as a gift from Sergeant Frederick Abberline after they helped him lock up several Blighters.

Trivia

  • The in game designation of the pistol appears to be based on its adoption by the British Army in 1856 and the caliber of ammunition it uses.
  • In Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, the 1856 Revolver is unlocked by reaching Loyalty Level 1 with Frederick Abberline.
