Just wanted to say thanks for your reply on my button configuration problem ive been having although I am not able to access my PS3 at the moment it sounds like a reasonable answer to the problem as games tend to mistaken that kind of stuff. Oh really? What happened? Does it make sounds or anything when you try to eject disc or whatever the problem is? You could take a look inside but I dont think Playstation will fix it for free if you still have warrenty on it.
