History
The game was announced on September 10, 2013. Debut trailer was released, showing the story and naval combat.
Story
The game's story follows a pirate named Alonso Batilla who is searching for a treasure of La Buse. Unlike the previous games in the series, Alonso is not an Assassin, meaning he will have to fight both Templars and Assassins to reach his goals.
