- August 11: The Mayan Long Count Calendar begins at 13.0.0.0.0. This starts the countdown to the Abstergo Satellite launch in December 2012. [6]
2nd Millennium BCE
Prehistory
- The stories of Those Who Came Before and their children, happening in this period, would later be retold as mythologies in Ancient Greek. The Glyphs name this period as "Prehistory" [7], yet these events precedes the Trojan War, and is thus listed under the 2nd Millennium BCE.
- Zeus, one of Those Who Came Before, rapes Io, a human. Io gives birth to Epaphus. [7]
- Zeus rapes Europa, a human, giving birth to Minos, Rhadamanthys and Sarpedon. [7]
- Zeus and Danaë, a human, gives birth to Perseus. [7]
- Perseus slays Medusa with the Sword. [8]
- Zeus seduces Leda, a human, as a swan. Leda gives birth to Helen of Troy. [7]
- Heracles steals an Apple from the Hesperides. [1]
- Jason obtains the Golden Fleece. [9]
- Hippomenes wins a race with Atalanta (in order to marry her) by distracting her during the race with an Apple.

- Jacob gives The Shroud, as a multicolored coat, to Joseph. [9]
Circa 1600 BCE
- Moses obtains the Staff. [8]
- Moses liberates the Israelites from Egyptian rule with the help of the Staff. [10]
Circa 1190 BCE
- Zeus sends Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite to Paris of Troy to decide who would receive the Apple.
- The Trojan War occurs as a result of Paris choosing Aphrodite. [10]
- Idun possess an Apple, or even multiple Apples, that gives the eater immortality. [1]
1st Millennium BCE
Circa 970 BCE
- David wins a fight against Goliath with the help of the Shroud. [9]
702 BCE
465 BCE
- Xerxes I of Persia is assassinated by Darius. [11]
332 BCE
- Alexander the Great invades Egypt. It is likely that he also receives his Staff during the war.
323 BCE
- The Assassin Iltani poisons Alexander the Great [11], who holds the Staff of Eden. [8]
210 BCE
- Assassin Wei Yu kills Emperor Qin Shi Huang of China with a spear. [11]
Before 150 BCE
- The Antikythera mechanism is constructed, probably with help from Those Who Came Before. [4]
44 BCE
- Gaius Julius Caesar is killed by the Assassins, led by Marcus Junius Brutus. [12]
42 BCE
- Marcus Junius Brutus suicides.
- The Assassins revives Brutus with the power of the Shroud, who wakes for a moment then falls dead again. [13]
30 BCE

- The birth of Jesus Christ, marking the start of the Common Era.

- John the Baptist acquires the Staff of Eden and begins his ministry. [8]

- Jesus Christ is baptized by John the Baptist.

- April 3: Jesus Christ is crucified by the Templars in order to retrieve the Shroud. [9]
- April 5: Jesus Christ's followers sneak into a fortress and recover the Shroud, which was then used to resurrect Jesus for a few days. [9]
- Saint Peter obtains the Staff of Eden and becomes the leader of the Early Christian Church. [8]

- Atilla the Hun obtains the Sword of Eden and becomes Emperor of the Hunnic Empire until his death in 453. [8]
Between Late 5th Century and Late 6th Century
- Arthur pulled the Sword of Eden, then called Excalibur, out of a stone and used it to become King of England. [8]
- Odin obtains the sword, and plunges the Sword into a tree called Barnstokkr.
- Sigmund pulled the Sword from the tree. [8]

- A Chinese wall art in Dunhuang depicts the Fourth Apple. [4]

- Hassan-i Sabbah is the Grand Master of the Assassin Order. [10]
- The Assassins begins performing public assassinations and let the public to know of their existence.

- The Templars, unnamed at this time, officially name themselves "Templars". [10]
- Hugh de Payns is the Grand Master of the Templar Order, leading the Templars to unification.

- January 11: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, an Assassin (later Grand Master), is born.
1189
- May: The Third Crusade begins as the Crusaders declare war on the Muslims.
1190
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad becomes a Master Assassin. [14]
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad returns to Alep after a very long journey, and is tasked by Al Mualim to find the Chalice.
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad kills Lord Basilisk, Grand Master of the Knights Templar, but fails to rescue a kidnapped Adha and swears to find her again.
- Robert de Sable succumbs Lord Basilisk as the new Grand Master of the Knights Templar. [15]
1191
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Malik A-Sayf and Kadar A-Sayf are sent to retrieve the Templars' treasure. Altaïr flees the scene; Kadar is killed but Malik, though badly wounded, completes the mission. [15]
- The Siege of Masyaf by Robert de Sable results in victory for the Assassins.
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad is demoted to Novice.
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad hunts down nine Templars responsible for the prolonged Crusade.
- September 7: The Battle of Arsuf occurs. Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad assassinates Robert de Sable, Grand Master of the Knights Templar.
- Armand Bouchart succumbs Robert de Sable as the new Grand Master of the Knights Templar. [16]
- Richard the Lionheart sells Cyprus to Armand Bouchart.
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad assassinates Armand Bouchart and various Templar agents in Cyprus.

- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad began to expand the Order's sphere of operations significantly, sending out those that had trained under him across the globe. [17]
1227
- Qulan Gal, an Assassin, assassinates Genghis Khan of the Mongol Empire by shooting his horse with an arrow (Genghis Khan would die of his injuries). [11]
1271
- Marco Polo begins his life living in the court of Kublai Khan. He acquired the Codex during his stay.
1290
- The Villa Auditore is constructed in Monteriggioni.
1296
- Domenico Auditore spends his childhood "in a small house by the Venetian lagoon".
14th Century
1307
- Pope Clement V allows Philip IV of France to "arrest" Templars across Europe.
1314
- The Templar Order is officially disbanded according to mainstream history and used the public disbanding as a cover to go underground and continue the covert war against the Assassins.
1320
- The Villa Auditore is attacked by the Florentine, leaving its facade damaged.
1321
- Dante Alighieri is murdered by the Templars. His body is found by Domenico Auditore.
- Domenico Auditore purchases and renovates the Villa Auditore.
- Domenico and his family escapes to Spain.
1324
- Domenico Auditore travels to Venice.
- Marco Polo and Domenico Auditore's father are murdered.
15th Century
1416
- Uberto Alberti, a Templar and Gonfaloniere of Florence, is born.
1424
- Jeanne d'Arc receives the Sword of Eden and starts having visions of thwarting the English occupation in France.
1431
- Jeanne d'Arc is burned at the stake by English Templars.
- The Templars acquired the Sword of Eden.
1432
- Maria de' Mozzi, future wife to Giovanni Auditore, is born.
1434
- Mario Auditore, an Assassin, condottiero, and ruler of Monteriggioni is born.
1435
- Silvio Barbarigo, a state inquisitor of Venice, and a Templar, is born.
1436
- Giovanni Auditore, an Assassin, Maria Auditore's husband and Mario Auditore's brother is born.
1438
- Paola, an Assassin and the leader of the Courtesans of Florence, is born.
- June 29: Mario Auditore, now a condottiero patrolling the countryside of Anghiari, alerts Micheletto Attendolo to a surprise advance of Milanese troops.

- Alvise da Vilandino is born.
1442
- Cosimo de' Medici promotes Luca Albizzi to the position of Gonfaloniere, in the place of his old friend Ilario Auditore.

- Maria de' Mozzi meets Giovanni Auditore for the first time at her bakery.
- Octavian de Valois, a French baron, Templar and general in both the papal and French army is born.
1450
- Giovanni Auditore marries Maria de' Mozzi.
1454
- Giovanni Auditore moves to Florence with Maria Auditore to pursue a career in banking.
- Mario Auditore stays at the family villa in Monteriggioni and attempts to decipher Altaïr's Codex.
- Mario Auditore repels an attack on Monteriggioni led by the condottiero Federico da Montefeltro.
- Mario Auditore finds the Shroud inside a chamber within the well of Villa Auditore.
- Giovanni Auditore takes The Shroud from Monteriggioni at Mario Auditore's request.
1455
- Bartolomeo d'Alviano, an Assassin, and condottiero of Venice is born.
- Giovanni Auditore saves Lorenzo de' Medici from drowning in the River Arno, starting a beneficial friendship between their families.
1456
- Federico Auditore da Firenze is born to Giovanni and Maria Auditore.
1457
- Annetta, the Auditore family servant, is born.
16th Century
1500
- Alvise da Vilandino dies in Methoni, Greece during a Turkish attack.
