:Wasn't it stated somewhere (Database entries for Syndicate, maybe?) that all over the world, at different times, same ideas popped up? As in, there are Assassins in Egypt (Origins), in Greece, in Mayan culture...and they have preciously little (apparently) to do with each other, before 'meeting up' somewhere down the line. Guessing this is how i reply to the previous talk topic. But yeah, in one form or another around the ancient world, the ideas carried by the Order of Ancients and later the formed Templar Order would exist. Much like there were groups similar to the Hidden Ones, before they united to form siad order, there were possibly groups that were founded on the ideas of hte Order of Ancients that possibly were puppet or smaller organizations under their control or would go on to be one of the groups that united to form said order.

Is it another group of the precursor of Templars? And what relation between Cult of Kosmos and Order of the Ancients? -- A.gao.96 (talk) 08:11, June 13, 2018 (UTC)

Just tossing ideas here, but I'm thinking each group evolves into the other. I'd say the Cult follows an abstract belief in "Order", which is turned into an ideology by the Order of the Ancients, with a concrete methodology emerging sometime between the end of The Hidden Ones (DLC) and when they formally organized into the Templars. But again, just making wild guesses. -- Darman (talk) 03:40, June 13, 2018 (UTC)
BTW, you can add your signature by typing 4 tildes after your text, like so: ~~~~
The Order of the Ancients was created by the Pharaoh Smenkhkare circa 1334 BC, so it exists during the event of Odyssey, but maybe they joined together after that. Maybe also the hero created a group of proto-assassins who joined the Hidden Ones later.Francesco75 (talk) 07:07, June 13, 2018 (UTC)
