Would it be possible for simplicities sake to add a pronunciation guide for his name as it would appear to be pronounced Sea-zar (like Julius) and as I recently learned it is pronounced Chez-aray. [[User:Hutchy01|Hutchy01]] ([[User talk:Hutchy01|talk]]) 16:04, January 14, 2015 (UTC)

I'd think that the people who have played Brotherhood would know how to pronounce Cesare :s I'm not sure if we want to mimic Wikipedia in that respect. Besides, it's a bit subjective - if we add one for Cesare, I'd figure we'd need a pronunciation guide for all characters. It doesn't really seem worth it, in my opinion. {{User:Crookandcharlatan/sig}} 16:13, January 14, 2015 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for Cesare Borgia.
Here, you may discuss improving the article.

Is it just me or does Cesare Borgia in the game look remarkably like John Malkovich??...... Potential actor when this hits the big screen perhaps??......

Please sign your posts. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 23:38, June 14, 2010 (UTC)

Why is signing them such a big deal??....... EchoAltair.......

So we can know who you are and kick your ass if you do something wrong. -- D. Cello 00:18, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
Actually Cesare Borgia looks almost exactly like his real life portrait. Visit the Wikipedia page to see how well the artists managed to get him to look like the real Cesare from history. Firebat11 13:00, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
He does look like he does in real life, I just reckon that the way the graphics are make him look like John Malkovich.....EchoAltair 21:41, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
I certainly wouldn't say so. 98.192.42.30 23:27, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

"In 1499, Cesare lead a Templar assault on the Villa Auditore (Where he was shown to possess an Apple of Eden, stolen from Mario) destroying most of the villa, shooting Mario Auditore and wounding Ezio."

Where do you got this information? just curious

Oh right, well I don't have tildes or a signature button on my phone, I figured you'd know by the amount of full stops I tend to use........ EchoAltair 10:42, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Spoilers?

Does this page really contain spoilers? Anything known about his so far was either read in some database entries in AC2 or was seen in previews for Brotherhood. I'd hardly consider previews as spoilers, because that's the game content that Ubisoft wanted us to see. -- JFHavoc (Talk) 16:25, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

I would say it contains spoilers. There are some who might not want to know what happens to Mario, or about the siege. The spoiler warning lets them know there is information about the game, inside the article. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 16:28, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
Understandable, thanks for clearing that up. -- JFHavoc (Talk) 16:43, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

Guy with pink hair?

Who is the guy with the pink hair with Cesare during the Villa invasion. Were there a group of people in real life that did this?Mayboy128 05:54, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Hardcore Templars would dye their hair and beard white and/or red..... Perhaps it's faded or because dyes weren't as good then...... If it was meant to be pink then I don't know...... EchoAltair.....

Ok thanks. Mayboy128 06:11, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Cesare/Giovanni Appearance : oh really ?

I don't really agree with the statement that In-Game Cesare looks much like his real-life brother Giovanni.

In this very famous portrait of Cesare, we can see that these brothers look alike and that In-Game Cesare looks like Real-Life Cesare : http://www.paradoxplace.com/Perspectives/Italian%20Images/images/PPPortraits/Borgias/600/Melone-Cesare-Borgia-BR600.jpg

I think this statement should be removed.

Forgot to sign, sorry 86.77.131.146 10:10, July 31, 2010 (UTC)Cesare

You can't said in-game Cesare looks like real-life Cesare, your proof is just a portrait - Duelisttri 10:13, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, we don't have any photograph of him (guess why). But the statement i want to remove is only supported by another portrait. So i don't get your point, Duelisttri.86.77.131.146 10:20, July 31, 2010 (UTC)Cesare

Quote is live not leave

The quote at the top of the page should be "If I want to live, I live. If I want to take, I take." It's even there in the game's (360) subtitles.

When i heard that line in the trailer i totally thought he said 'leave' instead of 'live'. --Jedted 02:04, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

stop being nasty

sleeping with your sisster cesear shame on you im glad he gets killledDeirdreKent101 15:31, December 18, 2010 (UTC)

You know that's actually historically accurate right....? Plus, he got killed because of his growing megalomania, not because of any incestous dalliances.Marael 17:30, August 6, 2011 (UTC)

So... Assassin;s Creed's creator's aren't making a story on him. Everyother Borgia is dead, including Cesare(which is the talk page :P), excluding Lucrezia Borgia and Jofré Borgia.

What's your point? --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 02:02, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
Jofre Borgia didn't actually play that big of a role in the events unfolded by the Borgia, historically or even in the game, so there's no need for them to do so. It's likely they had married him off to some minor princess somewhere to make a political alliance thus having nothing to do with the PoE, and beneath the Assassins' notice. Similarities Between Cesare and Ezio

This is trivial information but interesting none the less. Cesare was the second son of Rodrigo out of four full blooded siblings, as was Ezio. Even the structure of the siblings is the same for both; elder brother, younger sister and a baby brother. In the youths they both publicly took on jobs that there fathers had, while Cesare know of his father's secret of being a Templar and Ezio only found out of his father's connection to the Assassins after the murder of most of his family. Both would see the brilliance in Leonardo da Vinci and use his genius to help their respective causes. They would both seek the Apple of Eden and both rise to become heads of the respective Orders.
