:I had assumed I had the get go, but we've had leaks in the past regarding future titles and they've turned out to be true once Ubisoft confirmed. I figured, I could at the very least, create the article for the upcoming release, which is going to be titled Origins (Or Empire). I understand that using mere conjecture as references was not exactly the most logical thing to do, but the Wiki will end up having this article created in the future at some point, I figured I would do so now, that we are close to E3. Perhaps I'll update, or petition to reopen the article once Ubisoft has unveiled the title at E3? <span style="font-family:Trajan Pro;color:#006080;">Supreme Master Assassin</span><font color="6ce4b0">O Mentoras</font> 01:40, May 9, 2017 (UTC)

::If the rumors are confirmed, then the article can be created right then and there. There's absolutely no harm in waiting for them to be confirmed to create the article. On the other hand, if the article is created preemptively before the rumors are confirmed, there's always the possibility that the rumors are false, and we helped to propagate misinformation to fans. There is also no benefit for the article to be created preemptively while there remains the possibility of harm if we do. ::Fair enough, will have to wait for Ubisoft to greenlight the rumors in June E3 this year, maybe they'll even unveil a trailer as they always typically do, possibly some gameplay as well. One thing that sticks with me though, is that rumors in the past have typically wound up becoming true in the end, but of course you are correct in stating that these rumors could turn out to be false in the end. What we have so far on the internet is all speculation, but a lot of is specific information too, such as the title of the next game, Empire or Origins. So if anything else, I will wait to see what Ubisoft reveals this summer and create the article then, if they reveal a trailer for their game. On the other hand, what do you personally think of the rumors that have spread so far? Any chance that some of them could be true? I've read that players will be able to travel as far as Greece in Empire or Origins, and that there will be a naval component implented for the Meditteranean Sea. One thing I don't like, is the inclusion or alleged inclusion of a hawk on the player's shoulder, it seems very... un-Assassin's Creed like. <span style="font-family:Trajan Pro;color:#006080;">Supreme Master Assassin</span><font color="6ce4b0">O Mentoras</font> 17:40, May 9, 2017 (UTC)

Deletion

I know that the creator of this article did so tentatively and asked an administrator whether it was fine, so I feel that I might be a little harsh for being so prompt in my response, but I disagree that this article should stand. I'm not entirely sure of our policy here regarding rumors, but I think there's a reason why Empire didn't exist as an article before, right? I think sources for articles should only be those licensed by Ubisoft, and as an obvious extension, official Assassin's Creed sources. Having articles or information based only on rumors is preemptive and may only serve to misinform fans. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 04:41, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed. There's nothing in this article that has actually been confirmed yet by Ubisoft, just leaks and rumours. Until more information, verified information at that, is released, I don't think this page is necessary. Crook The Constantine District 06:39, May 8, 2017 (UTC)
